You know, there are a great number of truly excellent juvenile fiction books out there, and I just read one of them – The Vanderbeekers of 141st Street, by Karina Yan Glaser.  It’s the story of a family, living in part of an old brownstone in Harlem, and what happens when their landlord suddenly decides he won’t renew their lease.  And what the 5 kids in the family will do to change their landlord’s mind.

It was wonderful.  So sweet, and a wonderful, topsy-turvy family.  Highly recommend.

Now I need to decide on book 3!!!!
